Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

HP has added another member to its line of thin and light notebooks with the release of the 13.3-inch widescreen Pavilion dv3. Powered by a 2-GHz AMD Athlon X2 processor, the device packs up to 8GB of RAM and up to 400GB HDD. The dv3 comes with 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, three USB 2.0 ports, one HDMI slot, and a display resolution of 1280 x 800. Also included are a built-in VGA webcam and digital microphone designed to support live video chat, an ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics processor, and an 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support.
