The HP Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition, inspired by the Spring collection of the globally acclaimed fashion designer after which it is named, comes in bright red with gold highlights and a peony-flower design. HP's attempt to connect with the mobile fashionista has a 10.2-inch diagonal widescreen display (1024 x 600 resolution). Actually unveiled at Tam's Fall 2009 Fashion Week in Battery Park in New York, the computer was commonly mistaken for a purse.
Called the first "digital clutch" by Tam, the netbook is powered by Intel's Atom N270 1.6GHz processor with Windows XP Home. The keys of the Mini 1000 are 92% the size of a standard notebook keyboard. The portable netbook includes an Ethernet jack, 2 USB ports, WLAN connectivity, a built-in webcam with microphone, and is otherwise specced identically to the regular edition of the HP Mini 1000. An attractive option for the fashion-savvy individual wanting to stay connected, the HP Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition comes with a matching sleeve for stylish travel.

I actually like the regular black Mini1000 with the swirl design on the back better....and it's cheaper!
