Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The Dell Vostro 1520 is a moderate performance,15.4-inch laptop intended for small business customers. Internally, the Vostro models are similar to those in the Dell Inspiron line of home and entertainment computers, but they have a more reserved aesthetic for a business environment, and are supported by a different division of Dell support that operates in business hours rather than in the evenings, unless you buy extended coverage.

The entry-level configuration of the 1520 (priced at $519) includes a 2.2 GHz Intel Celeron processor, two gigabytes of memory, a DVD burner, a 160 GB hard drive, and integrated Intel graphics. Upgrade options reach as high as a 2.66 GHz Core 2 Duo, 8 GB of RAM, a Blu-ray disc drive, a built-in webcam, a fingerprint reader, either a larger hard drive or a solid state drive, and a 256 MB GeForce 9300M GS graphics chip.

On October 15th, 2009, Dell added the option to include an AT&T 3G cellular data connection for an additional $125. To get that upgrade, you'll also have to add the GeForce 9300M for $109.
