The Dell Studio 17 is a 17-inch-screen notebook PC equipped with a 2.0GHz dual-core Intel Centrino processor, internal Bluetooth transciever, and a 2.0-megapixel webcam. The standard Studio 17 has 3GB of memory, a 250GB hard drive, and an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator chipset. It comes with a fingerprint reader for security and a backlit keyboard for working in darker conditions. Dell has given the system a range of customization options, including opportunities to install a Blu-ray player, more memory up to 4GB, and a better video card. The Studio 17 can access a network over either Ethernet or WiFi, and comes with Windows Vista Home for its operating system. Prices start at around $800, but depend on customization choices.
