Compaq's CQ60 laptop is not exceptional for its features, design, or specification, but for its price; you can pick it up for $298 at Walmart, and it's not a netbook.
It's a 15.6-inch laptop with a 1360x768 display, a 2.1 GHz AMD Sempron processor, three gigabytes of memory, GeForce 8200M integrated graphics, and a 160 GB hard drive.
It ships with Windows Vista, though Walmart doesn't specify which version. It's probably safe to bet that it's Home Basic.
