Google Nexus One and HTC Supersonic 4G smartphone heading to Sprint

The Aspire AS5739G from Acer is a laptop that packs a lot of hardware punch, but it's not prohibitively expensive; it starts at only $750.

Acer's press release lists these specs: a 2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 4 GB of RAM, a 250 GB hard drive, a somewhat impressive NVIDIA GeForce GT130M graphics card with 1 GB of dedicated video memory, and, most surprisingly, a Blu-ray drive.

Where Acer seems to have skimped a bit is the 15.6-inch screen, which only has a resolution of 1366 x 768. That's awfully low for a lot of computing tasks, and it's not 1080p so you'll only be able to watch those Blu-ray movies at 720p, but from a gaming perspective it makes sense; that native resolution is about the best the graphics card could handle in the latest 3D games.
