Microsoft Wireless Entertainment Desktop 7000
Microsoft's Desktop 7000 is a wireless keyboard featuring a curved design, a dedicated Vista button, and an instant messaging key that connects to Windows Live. The keyboard also comes with a Windows Gadget button to access various Vista functions and a favorites hot-key to access useful Web pages. Both the included mouse and the Desktop 7000 keyboard have rechargeable batteries and low-battery light indicators. They use a 2.4GHz wireless Bluetooth connection with a maximum range of 30 feet. Those interested may prefer to pay slightly more the Desktop 8000, which includes four USB ports in its charging hub to download files from. Prices for the 7000 model begin at $149.95.
