Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

Sling Media's SlingCatcher is a universal media player for televisions. The unit is designed to provide access to digital video from a wide variety of sources: any device connected to a SlingBox you already own (including cable, satellite, DVR or DVD player), internet video from your PC, or through an external USB 2.0 hard drive or USB 2.0 flash drive connected to the device. The SlingCatcher "catches" and displays video from these sources onto whatever TV you connect it to -- another TV in your home or even a TV in a remote location while you're travelling. Priced at $299.99, the device features a variety of connections including HDMI out, component out, S-video out, composite out, and a digital audio output.
