Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The Sharp AQUOS BD-HP21U is a basic Blu-ray player featuring DVD upscaling to 1080p, CD/DVD-R support, and compatibility with Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD, and Dobly Digital Plus audio formats. Although the BD-HP21U offers 1080p/24Hz playback through an HDMI connection and 7.1 channel surround sound support, it does not have all the features of more expensive models. Unlike certain Blu-ray players, such as the Sony BDP-S350, which are compatible with the latest Blu-ray formats including BD Live for access to continual updates, the BD-HP21U only supports the Blu-ray profile 1.1, with no Internet access to update to Profile 2.0. For users who also have an AQUOS LCD screen the AQUOS LINK function allows users to give simultaneous commands to both devices. Prices for the AQUOS BD-HP21U begin at $299.99, with discounts available over retail stores.
