The DMP-BD30 was the first Blu-ray player on the market to include the Profile 2.0 / BD Live feature, allowing for enhanced-feature playback such as pop-up commentary from directors and actors while the movie is playing. The DMP-BD30 als has upconversion technology to allow users to view their DVDs, home videos, and JPEG files in full 1080p resolution. An additional feature worth noting is the DMP-BD30’s DivX compatibility.
