Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The Memorex MVBD-2510 is a Blu-ray Player most noted for its inexpensive price. During the 2008 holiday season, many retailers were selling the unit for as cheaply as $169.99, which was the lowest price of any Blu-ray player at the time. With Blu-ray mainstays like DVD up-conversion to 1080p from 480p, 720p and 1080i formats and 7.1 channel surround sound capabilities with support for Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD audio formats, the MVBD-2510 is a fairly standard Blu-ray player. In addition to its full HD, 1080p playback, the MVBD-2510 offers compatibility with Blu-ray profile 1.1 and an on-screen user interface. The player has connectivity capabilities for HDMI v1.3, component video, composite video, and S-Video cables, along with an optical audio output, an analog 5.1 channel audio output, and a USB 2.0 input. Insignia's NS-BRDVD is a comparable system with fewer audio capabilities for those who do not need all the audio formats.
