The Epson Ensemble HD Home Cinema System is a home entertainment system centered around 100-inch electronic projection screen. The system comes with a surround sound cradle, a subwoofer unit, an LCD remote control, an A/V controller for the components, and an equipment cabinet to place it in. Epson offers you a choice between two different three-LCD full HD 1080p projectors to finish off the system, the Powerlite 6100/6500 units with HDMI 1.3 compatibility and 24 fps capabilities. The 6100 comes with an 18,000:1 contrast ratio, while the 6500 uses alternate technology to raise that to 75,000:1. With the better projector the system has a retail price of $7,999, while the lesser projector has $6,499 price tag.
