Logitech's Harmony 1100 is a high-end remote device that combines external navigation buttons with a 3.5-inch color touchscreen for giving entertainment systems commands such as watch TV, play DVD, or listen to radio. According to Logitech the Harmony 1100 can take the place of up to 15 remotes, if you have that many scattered around, and runs on an internal rechargeable battery with a charge stand included. The remote is compatible with more than 225,000 devices and can be customized with your own choice of commands, icons, and screen themes. You can also use Logitech's RF wireless capabilities to control systems through walls or doors, although you will need to purchase the $100 RF Extender for this feature. The Harmony 1100 has a retail price of $499.99.
