Google Nexus One and HTC Supersonic 4G smartphone heading to Sprint

The Yahama MCS-1330 was introduced simultaneously with a group of three other mini sound systems (MCR-330, MCR-230, and CRX-430), all of which share a similar feature set with minor variations. All four models come with a pair of speakers, and include a USB port and a CD player. While previous models included an external Yamaha Universal iPod Dock, these four have the iPod docking station built-in. Also new to iPod compatibility is the option to control it with the mini system's remote.

The differences between these new models come mostly in the individual specs, and the MCS-1330 is decidedly the high end of the lot. Like its spiritual predecessor the MCR-E810SL, this model produces 2 x 60W of output power. While this power capability isn't as robust as a high-end home theater AV system, it outclasses the 2 x 25W of the CRX-430 and the 2 x 20W of the MCR-330 and the MCR-230. The MCS-1330 also includes the largest two-way speakers, each with a 2.5cm tweeter and a 13cm woofer. The cabinets of these speakers have been designed to negate vibration.
