Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The Sanyo Internet Radio R227 has an integrated WiFi connection that allows the user to listen to any of hundreds of online radio stations and podcasts. An alternative to satellite radio, the R227 requires no subscription fees to listen to access its radio stations from all over the world. The standalone unit needs no computer to operate and works with secure wireless networks. Users can search by country or genre, can store up to eight preset Internet stations, and can tune FM frequencies with eight additional presets.

The four-watt, 3.5-inch stereo speakers are housed in an attractive black cabinet with lacquer finish. The Internet Radio has a 1/8-inch jack for headphones or line audio-out and an Ethernet jack for wired network access. From a connected computer, the R227 will stream AAC, AIFF, MP3, RM, WAV, WMA, and M3V playback.
