The Linksys Wireless Home Audio System uses ethernet to stream music throughout your entire home. The kit is comprised of a variety of different elements that can be purchased individually, or as a part of a larger grouped set. All of the individual components have the ability to interface with each other, can pull music from your digital libraries and connected devices, and can play music simultaneously in designated zones.
The Conductor (DMC350) is an all-in-one player with a 7-inch touchscreen for browsing through your music library, a CD player, and its own speakers.
The Director (DMC250) is a stand-alone receiver with a 100-watt amplifier as well as RCA and speaker out so you can connect it to your existing sound system ($450)
The Player (DMP100) relays digital audio via RCA cables to your existing home theater system.($300)
The Controller (DMWR1000) allows you to navigate your music library over your wireless network. The controller has a touchscreen as well as a D-pad for navigation.($350)
In addition to the main components you can also pick up an iPod dock for the device, additional speakers, and a basic IR remote control.
