The Samsung 850 PAVV is a 50-inch plasma HDTV that measures just 29mm thick. Samsung claims the screen is 40-percent more power efficient than its previous line of plasmas, and 20-percent lighter. The television can display 1080p content, has DLNA support, a 240Hz refresh rate, and has a USB 2.0 port on its back for playing back DivX videos. A 58-inch version of the screen is also expected to be released. No word on pricing or availability for either set.
