The LG PS60, announced at CES 2009, is a full HD 1080p plasma HDTV in 50 and 60-inch models, featuring a single-layer flat-panel design that merges with the screen, 600 Hz motion smoothing, and a THX Cinema mode for optimal sound. Users can connect external storage devices with the USB 2.0 input and listen to digital music files or view saved photographs and images. The TV is equipped with four HDMI 1.3 Deep Color ports, and LG's SimpLink Connectivity function that allows LG entertainment devices to be linked. There is no word yet on retail price or availability, but those looking for a less expensive model may be interested in the PQ30 series.
