Revealed at CES 2009, LG's LH55 Full HD 1080p LCD HDTV features scanning backlight technology that uses the TV's sensor to improve motion picture response time, intended to give the image a clearer, more natural appearance. The LH55 also has 24p cinema playback capabilities, ISFccc capabilities for customizing the picture, and a USB 2.0 connection for viewing JPEG images and listening to MP3 audio files. The TV also comes with four HDMI 1.3 ports. Pricing and shipping date information have not yet been released, but the LH55 will be available in 55, 47, 42, and 37-inch sizes.
