Google Nexus One and HTC Supersonic 4G smartphone heading to Sprint

Hitachi's UltraVision L55S603 is the 55-inch model in a line of three LCD TVs introduced by the manufacturer in 2009.

It has a 1080p display resolution, which is par for the course for just about any TV these days. It also has a 120 Hz refresh rate (not quite par for the course yet, but getting there) and a technology Hitachi calls "Reel120 smooth movie motion technology." Your guess is as good as ours as to what that actually does.

The TV has a built-in ATSC/QAM/NTSC over-the-air tuner, so you won't have to buy additional hardware to watch digital TV broadcasts. The UltraVision series features as many as eight high definition video inputs, including up to five HDMI ports, but the exact number for individual models hasn't been announced.

Look for this one of the store shelves sometime in September, priced at $1,799. The nearly identical 42-inch L42S503 and 46-inch L46S603 models are also launching this summer.
