Hitachi's Alpha L42A403 is the 42-inch model in a line of two LCD TVs introduced by the manufacturer in 2009.

It has a 1080p display resolution, which is par for the course for just about any TV over 32 inches these days. The Alpha series features seven high definition video inputs, including four HDMI ports, with two on the side panel for easy swapping. This TV also has an RGB input for connecting to a personal computer to view videos and photos.

This model should be on the store shelves as of May 2009, priced at $849. The nearly identical 32-inch L32A403 is also available.
