The Mio Navman Spirit S500 is a European GPS unit equipped with a 4.7-inch touchscreen featuring kinetic scrolling capabilities, and mapping functions including 3D views of junctions, lane guidance software, and a pedestrian mode for those on foot. The GPS includes Mio's route-planning software so you can create routes from your computer, and has Bluetooth technology for hands-free calling support as well. You can use Wcities travel books for more information on landmarks, and switch on the explore mode to scan all nearby popular locations. Using your cell phone's data network, the S500 can also do a Google Local search. There is also a Flat model available that uses a zero-profile flat bezel. Prices start at about $275 for the normal model, $300 for the Flat version.
