Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The Magellan RoadMate 1400 is a GPS unit with a 4.3-inch WQVGA touchscreen, NAVTEQ maps for the continental United States, Hawaii and Puerto Rico downloaded on an included SD card, and 1.3 million points of interest that users can search and set as destinations, including restaurants, hotels, airports, and gas stations. The GPS comes with an apprehension function intended to help users find addresses and a detour application that changes routes based on road changes or traffic. Magellan also included a rechargeable battery with a maximum life of 3 hours. Those looking for a GPS unit with more included maps may be interested in the larger Roadmate 1430. Prices for the Roadmate 1400 start at $199.99.
