Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The Kenwood HDV-909DT is a media-intensive GPS unit designed to double as a music and video player, equipped with a 7-inch LCD display and a hard drive that can hold up to 40 GB. It comes with a TV tuner for picking up available broadcasts (in Japan) and supports both Divx and DVD video playback, along with MP3, MWA, and AAC music files, and a collection of image formats for viewing photos. You can also listen to AM or FM radio. The GPS media device has a 5.1 audio output, a USB 2.0 port, and is iPod and iPhone compatible. It will be released in Japan in June 2009, for a retail price that comes to about $2,000.
