Google Nexus One and HTC Supersonic 4G smartphone heading to Sprint

The nüvi 760 from Garmin is a multifunction GPS navigation device. The 760, like the rest of the 700-series, has a 4.3-inch widescreen color touchscreen. Preloaded with City Navigator NT for North America, the unit's map data is expandable to include detailed maps for Europe and other areas of the world. Touted as an entertainment and travel tool, the product includes features such as an audio book player (via a subscription to Audible.com), JPEG image viewer, multi-nation currency converter, hands-free calling, and also has an FM transmitter.

With millions of points of interest (POIs), the 760 also offers an emergency services locater. Among the POIs, the European map download includes locations of traffic cameras and gives the user proximity alerts to warn of upcoming POIs. With Bluetooth wireless technology, hands-free calling with the built-in microphone and speaker and a compatible phone allows the user to communicate through the GPS unit, tapping the screen to answer an incoming call. With its integrated FM TMC traffic receiver, the unit automatically calculates detours to avoid problem areas.
