Google Nexus One and HTC Supersonic 4G smartphone heading to Sprint

The Garmin Nuvi 200 was marketed (as the name alludes to) new users of GPS units. As an Garmin’s entry-level GPS, it has relatively simple features, and a price tag that started reasonably low and has dropped significantly since its release in 2007. The unit measures 3.8"W x 2.8"H x .8"D and affixes to the windshield with a suction cup. It can be oriented using the ball and socket joint.

I’ve been using the Nuvi for about a year, and the 3.5” touch screen display is exceptionally bright and is readable even in bright sunlight. Stated battery life is up to 5 hours, and the unit comes preloaded with Garmin’s regional maps. One noticeably absent feature is spoken street names. Instead, you hear only “left” or “right.”
