The Onix 200 is a Bushnell GPS receiver unit featuring 32MB of internal memory and the ability to store satellite maps and overhead images downloaded from the Bushnell website. While other models, such as the Onix 400, offer real-time XM satellite weather maps, the 200 model focuses more on affordability, foregoing the XM functions and using a simple 240 x 160 grayscale screen. The unit still features a capable 20-channel SIRF GPS receiver, a compass with navigational aids, pre-installed maps that outline the geography of the United States and Canada, and switchable viewing modes for power saving or nighttime use. The Onix 200 runs on two AA batteries with a maximum life of 26 hours. An Onix 200 CR version is also available for users who prefer a color screen. Prices start at around $200 for the Onix 200.
