XOHM
XOHM is Sprint's WiMAX network, allowing users to connect wirelessly to the internet at higher speeds when compared to older cellular technologies. Initially launched in Baltimore, MD, XOHM offers speeds of up to five megabits per second download, and 2.6Mbps upload. The service requires a WiMAX compatible card or laptop, and plans are sold according to the day, week, or month.
Prices range from $10 / day to $30 / month for the service, and Sprint hopes to expand the service to Washington DC and Chicago next, with Dallas, Boston, Providence, RI and Philadelphia to come after that.
