Viewing angle
The viewing angle of a particular product is how far to the side (or above or below) a particular display a viewer can be located while still being able to see acceptable image quality. Viewing angle can be thought of as existing in a cone. Acceptable imagery is viewable in that cone projected straight out from the surface of the display. Viewing from outside said cone results in blurry, faded, or pixilated imagery. Projection screen televisions tend to have more reflective screens, and hence, smaller viewing cones than flat panel (LCD and plasma) displays.
