user interface
"User interface," or 'UI," is a catch-all term to describe any means by which a machine interacts with its user, a human being. This includes both input (for example, keystrokes, voice commands, or gestures) and output (words displayed on a screen, audio cues, and the like).
When someone talks about the UI of a device or software, they're referring to the complete set of input and output features that make up the way you give commands to and receive feedback from your computer, gadget, or software application.
