TV Tuner
A TV tuner is a device that allows computers to pick up television broadcasts and radio signals. TV tuner cards can either be included in the computer system as an internal component or added as an external piece of hardware. One tuner can be used to watch or record a TV channel, while a second tuner may be added to watch one channel while recording from another. Tuner cards can output data in analog or digital formats, though hybrid and combo models can switch between formats as needed.
