ToS
Terms of service (abbreviated ToS or TOS) are the rules a user agrees to when using a service; they are typically legally binding. A ToS notice can cover a range of issues from acceptable user behavior to copyright and privacy notices. Frequently used by websites and internet service providers, ToSes are increasingly being employed by online video games as well. ToS violations typically result in user suspension, account deletion, or other forms of service restrictions imposed on the offending user.
