Stereo Bluetooth (A2DP)

Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), also known as Stereo Bluetooth, is a Bluetooth 2.0 profile that enables the playback of music in stereo to compatible Bluetooth devices. Pairing compatible headphones with music playback devices, such as mobile phones or MP3 players with Bluetooth, allows the user higher quality playback than the typical Bluetooth headset profile. Stereo Bluetooth isn't yet a standard feature for every Bluetooth device, so users need to check their specific device to ensure compatibility.
