QWERTY keyboard

QWERTY refers to a specific type of keyboard layout used most frequently in English language countries. The name is derived from the first row of letters from left to right, which reads qwerty when typed in a row. Mobile phones using full English lettered keyboards are often referred to as QWERTY phones, and users look for QWERTY keypads as a feature of mobile devices.

QWERTY isn't the only keyboard layout in existence, many alternative users favor the DVORAK keyboard layout, which rearranges many of the keys in an alternate pattern to make heavy typists suffer from fewer repetitive stress injuries. AZERTY keyboards are predominant in French countries, and there are numerous other types of keyboard layouts in existence.
