PMP (Portable Media Player)

A portable media player (or personal media player) is a handheld device which stores digital media for on-the-go listening and playback. For the most part, this includes digital audio files, digital video files, and digital images files. Typically, they use a combination of a hard drive, a micro drive, flash memory, or removable memory cards for storage. Displays for video-specific players are generally LCD or OLED measuring around 6 inches or less. Some players feature in-built personal organization systems, some feature games, and some include broader features such as an FM tuner or built in DVR function.
