Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

PlayStation Home

PlayStation Home is the virtual environment where PlayStation users can interact with other users online, view content online, and play games available online. PlayStation (like the Wii and Xbox 360 before it) has instituted the use of avatars to achieve this end. Users can create a virtual embodiment of themselves to navigate the environment while either voice chatting or text chatting with other users. The Beta version of PlayStation Home was unveiled in late 2008, while the final version’s release is in early 2009.
