Joystick

A joystick is a control mechanism typically used in video games, consisting of a moveable stick attached to a base held in the hand (or as above, supported on a desk or tabletop). Small joystick controls are also occasionally found on cell phones and portable media controllers as a method of input offering more finely-grained control than a d-pad or other button scheme.
