FSB (front side bus)
The front side bus on a computer is the bus that connects the CPU to the northbridge, which is the main memory controller inside a computer. Alongside CPU speed and RAM, the FSB speed is one of the most important specifications on a computer as it is the speed that data is carried to and from the CPU. The FSB speed is commonly measured in either MHz or megtransfers-per-second (MT/s).
