Coaxial cable
Coaxial cable a type of cable traditionally used to connect TVs to broadcast sources and cable boxes. Coaxial cable is a higher gauge cable than other video signal carriers, like RCA cables and the like, and can carry the RF spectrum which makes them ideal as transmission lines for connecting antennas to TVs, as well as serving as the primary transmission method for cable TV systems. Coaxial cables contain a fair amount of shielding and insulation, ensuring the signal can travel with little interference.
