cloud computing
Cloud computing is a method by which users can get computing done by accessing programs, services and files through the internet as opposed to via standalone desktop applications, which means that programs can be used regardless of the user's location or client computer. Google Documents is a popular example of cloud computing, providing a significant online office application suite (word processor, spreadsheets, and a presentation app) akin to the desktop app Microsoft Office.
