Candy bar

Candy bar is the name given to the cell phone form factor that is simply a flattened rectangular prism. Also known as a bar or block, the candy bar style is the most basic mobile phone style with no moving parts save for the buttons and possibly an extendable antenna. There is usually some electronic key lock in place such that the exposed key pad cannot be accessed without first inputting an unlock sequence. Popular examples of the candy bar style include the LG Dare, Samsung Instinct, and the Apple iPhone.
