The iPad has landed.

After shipping the PlayStation version of Guitar Hero II with wired controllers owing to Microsoft’s unwillingness to share their proprietary wireless technology, Sony finally launched its own wireless Guitar Hero controller for Guitar Hero II.  Now, for the PS3, they've improved upon their existing controller in the form of the Les Paul edition.

Changeable faceplates allow for customization, but the Les Paul ships with a standard black faceplate with a white outline around the body. The neck of the guitar, too, is removable which could, in theory, allow for customizable necks for your guitar. However, those are yet to be seen actually appear on the market. The buttons on the standard neck are blacked out in the middle, like the faceplate, but lined with the original button colors.
