DJ Hero is a music game and peripheral for the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Wii, developed and published by the same people who created the popular Guitar Hero series of games.

The game is played with a controller that resembles a turntable, although like the guitars used for Guitar Hero, it's not a real instrument. With the controller and the game software, you create original mixes of popular songs from the hip-hop, R&B, Motown, electronica and dance musical genres.

DJ Hero launched in North America at a price of $119.99 on October 27th, 2009, and it will launch in the UK on October 30th.
