
With PMA right around the corner, a whopping 26 cameras were announced this week. Standouts include Canon's D10 and Fujifilm's Z33WP which are both waterproof, as well as the Ricoh CX1 which can capture dynamic range double shots.
We've given you a basic rundown of what you can expect from all the new models below. If you're interested in learning more about a particular camera click on the link to see a product page and complete spec list for that model.
New Products:

Canon announced 10 new consumer cameras this week. New models range from the ultra-zoom SX1 with a 20x optical zoom, to the freeze-proof D10. All 10 models are expected to be released sometime between March and May of this year and range in price from $130 to $600.
- SX1 IS: shoots photos at a 10-megapixel resolution, has a 20x wide-angle optical zoom, 1080p movie mode, HDMI connection, and will be available in April for an MSRP of $600.
- SX200 IS: takes pictures a 12.1-megapixel resolution, has a 12x optical zoom, a 720p movie mode, and will be available at the end of March for an MSRP of $350.
- D10: shoots photos at a 12.1-megapixel resolution, is freeze proof down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit, can withstand depths up to 33 feet, is shockproof up to four feet, and will be available in early May for an MSRP of $330.
- SD970 IS: takes pictures at a 12.1-megapixel resolution, has a 5x optical zoom, 720p movie mode, and will be available in mid-April for an MSRP of $380.
- SD960 IS: shoots photos at a 12.1-megapixel resolution, has a 4x zoom, 720p movie mode, and will be available in early March in a slew of colors for an MSRP of $330.
- SD780 IS: takes pictures at a 12.1-megapixel resolution, has a 3x optical zoom, 720p movie mode, and will be available mid-March for an MSRP of $280.
- SD1200 IS: shoots photos at a 10-megapixel resolution, has a 3x optical zoom, and will be available in mid-March for $230.
- A2100 IS: takes pictures at a 12.1-megapixel resolution, has a 6x optical zoom, and will be available in April for an MSRP of $250.
- A1100 IS: shoots photos at a 12-megapixel resolution, has a 4x optical zoom, and will be available in March for an MSRP of $200.
- A480: takes pictures at a 10-megapixel resolution, has a 3.3x optical zoom, and will be available in March for an MSRP of $130.

Sony announced six new additions to its Cyber-shot line this week. Camera models include one inexpensive ultra-zoom model, as well as two compact cameras with touchscreens.
- T90: takes pictures at a 12.1-megapixel resolution, has a 4x optical zoom, and a 3-inch touchscreen display. MSRP $299.
- T900: shoots photos at a 12.1-megapixel resolution, has a 4x optical zoom, and a 3.5-inch touchscreen display. MSRP of $379.
- W290: takes pictures at a 21.1-megapixel resolution, has a 5x optical zoom, and 720p video recording with HDMI out. MSRP $249.
- W230: shoots photos at a 12.1-megapixel resolution, has a 4x optical zoom, and a 3-inch LCD (a small step up from the W220's 2.7-inch screen). MSRP $199.
- H20: takes pictures at a 10.1-megapixel resolution, has a 10x optical zoom, and 720p video recording. MSRP $279.
- DSC-S980: shoots photos at a 12.1-megapixel resolution, has a 4x optical zoom, and digital (not mechanical) image stabilization. MSRP $149.

Samsung announced four new cameras this week, two 12-megapixel models and two 10-megapixel models. The cameras will all be available between March and May of this year, and range in price from $99 to $279.99.
- SL820: takes pictures at a 12-megapixel resolution, has a 5x optical zoom, 720p video recording, and will be available in May for an MSRP of $279.99.
- SL620: shoots photos at a 12-megapixel resolution, has a 5x optical zoom, shoots video at 640 x 480, and will be available in March for $199.99.
- SL202: takes pictures at a 10-megapixel resolution, has a 3x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD, and will be available in March for an MSRP of $149.99
- SL30: shoots photos at a 10-megapixel resolution, has a 3x zoom, a 2.5-inch LCD, and will be available in March for $99.

Fujifilm announced five new camera models this week. All five will be available in March and range in price from $129.95 to $249.95.
- Finepix S1500: takes pictures at a 12-megapixel resolution, has a 12x zoom, and automatic scene recognition. MSRP $249.95.
- Z33WP: shoots photos at a 10-megapixel resolution, has a 3x optical zoom, and is waterproof down to depths of 10 feet. MSRP $199.95.
- Z30: takes pictures at a 10-megapixel resolution, and has a video mode that allows you to start and stop recording within the same 60-second clip for easy uploading to YouTube. MSRP $179.95.
- FinePix J20: shoots photos at a 10-megapixel resolution, has a 3x optical zoom, and 2.7-inch screen. MSRP $129.95.
- FinePix J250: takes pictures at a 10-megapixel resolution, has a 5x optical zoom, and 3-inch LCD. MSRP $199.95.

Ricoh announced one lone camera this week. The Ricoh CX1 takes pictures at a 9-megapixel resolution and can capture dynamic range double shots which takes two pictures simultaneously at different exposures and combines the two images into a single photo. The camera is expected to be available in March for around $430.
New Accessories:

- In addition to it's slew of conusmer cameras, Canon introduced new 17mm and 24mm TS-E lenses. The tilt and shift lenses are compatible with all of Canon's EOS cameras,
and have a new barrel design that allows the tilt and shift to be rotated individually. Both lenses also have Canon's newest sub-wavelength structure coating to reduce ghosting and flare. - Canon also announced the WP-V1 Waterproof Case for the VIXIA HF20 and VIXIA HF200 flash memory camcorders this week. The case will be available in May and will allow you to go up to 130 feet underwater with the camcorders.
