The iPad has landed.

Eye-Fi Inc. is a company that makes a family of SD memory cards for digital cameras that wirelessly upload your photos to your computer and/or to the web. Uploading happens seamlessly as long as your camera is turned on; if connected to WiFi and near your computer, the images will be transferred without any action required. If you're not close to your machine, Eye-Fi will send the images to the Eye-Fi website to be hosted for free; the next time you turn on your computer the images will be sent down to it.

The photo-uploading cards have been on the market already, but at this year's CES the company announced the forthcoming addition of a video uploading feature to future Eye-Fi cards. We had a chance to get a demo of the new video upload feature and were impressed with the ease of use and speed of the new feature, which a rep told us should be available commercially on new Eye-Fi cards within the next few months. Check out the video after the break.
