Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

CeBIT stands for Centrum der Büro- und Informationstechnik, German for Center of Office and Information Technology, an international trade fair for digital IT and telecommunications development that will be taking place in Hannover, Germany during March 3 to 8, 2009. The fair will target a wide variety of groups, from retailers to government agencies, and the 2009 event will host exhibits from 69 different countries and about 4300 companies. Among the key issues to be discussed are "Webciety", focusing on Web 2.0 applications, and "Green Tech", which centers around eco-friendly technology. Speakers from Intel, Microsoft, and the European Parliament will be making keynote speeches, in addition to nearly 1000 other speakers.
