The VG2427wm is the entry-level, 24-inch model in ViewSonic's new 27wm line of LCD displays for computers. Like the other displays in the line, the VG2027wm has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, so it can play FullHD 1080p videos. It also has an impressive 20,000:1 contrast ratio with 300 nits of brightness, so the blacks and whites should both look pretty good.
It connects to your computer via either a VGA or a DVI port, but it also has two USB ports and built-in speakers to make things a bit easier. You can pick it up at an electronics retailer right now for $319. You can also find 20 and 22-inch models in the same line.
