With a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 and full HD 1080p compatibility, the 24-inch Samsung SyncMaster T240HD is a hybrid of Samung's HDTV and monitor lines. Users can watch TV and HDTV with menu features derived from Samungs HDTVs and connect to other devices with the two HDMI ports, adjust the ATSC tuner, program formats with the included remote control, and still use the montor with their desktop systems. While Dell's 24-inch 2408WFP has a a higher pixel rate for better picture flow and more computer functions, it lacks some the TV and HDTV tuner functions that Samsung has given the T240HD and, at discount prices of $489.99, Samsung's model has a significantly lower cost.
