The Samsung P2770HD is a 27-inch LCD display with a 50,000:1 contrast ratio and 5ms response time; it's almost identical to the 23-inch P2370HD announced earlier this year.

The screen is ultra-thin with a depth of just 65.5mm and is optimized for office applications as well as viewing fast-moving graphics in video games or watching sports or other events streamed over the web.The high-definition display also has a built-in HD tuner, HDMI and component inputs, and integrated speakers with SRS TruSurround. The monitor uses Samsung's Starlight Touch controls that integrate on-screen display buttons into the bezel for a seamless look, and eco-conscious features that reduce the displays energy use by a third.

This model ads a built-in digital TV tuner and an HDMI output that weren't included in its smaller but older sibling. The TV is available in Korea right now for 549,000 Won (around $475). North American and European releases are very likely to come, but details haven't been announced.
