Google Chrome OS unveiled, released to open source community

The 2709m is HP's largest computer monitor to date. It measures 27 inches diagonally, and it has a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. HP fit 1920 x 1080 (1080p) pixels in between those 27 inches.

While the display is short on special features, the specs are generally quite good. It has a 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (only 1000:1 regular) and 92% color gamut. Response times clock at 5 milliseconds for on/off and 3 milliseconds for gray-to-gray. Connectivity options include one VGA, one DVI, and two HDMI ports. It has integrated speakers — two watts per channel.

You can grab it now from the official HP store for $499.99.
